Systems Analyst - SAP

 This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours per week.

 Preferred Background:

The successful candidate must possess a degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of five (5) years of experience working in Information Technology. SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) certification and Canadian Payroll Association Certification is preferred. Experience in SAP ECC 6.0, Human Resources (HR)/Payroll project implementation, maintenance and support is required. Experience in Canadian Payroll, Time Management, Personnel Administration and Organization Management modules is required. Experience in Training, Timesheet modules and HR Authorization, HR ad-hoc reports is preferred. The candidate must have experience in SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS); experience with the Recruitment & On-Board and Talent Management modules is preferred. Experience in SAP FI/CO, MM, PM modules, Business Warehouse, Business Object, Report Writer, Fiori Apps and ABAP development is preferred. Knowledge/experience in Work Force Management Systems and Siebel (CRM) would be a definite asset. Experience in other SAP modules and products, Oracle or SQL Server database, applications development and integration is an advantage. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. The candidate must be able to work effectively as part of a team, assuming a leadership role as required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.


  • Provides advanced level support for SAP HCM and other modules.
  • Configures SAP HCM (and other modules as projects require).
  • Implements SAP HR Support Packages, CLC and Year End Master Notes.
  • Implements HR Authorization and ad-hoc reports.
  • Participates in project implementation including design, configuration, development, testing, documentation and deployment as assigned.
  • Transfers knowledge to other co-workers including knowledge base documentation and training.
  • Liaises and collaborates with contractors as required.
  • Provides standby support as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
